POLICIES, & ANSWERS TO COMMON QUESTIONS

1. Will you mail the vials of Testosterone, Semaglutide, Tirzepatide, BPC-157, and NAD directly?

We have the testosterone shipped from an overseas supplier, and the other products are from a U.S.-based company called Felix Chem that ships the products directly to the customer, with significant cost advantages.

2. Will insurance cover these products?

No. They may cover testosterone but we titrate your testosterone levels to the upper limits of normal to maximize benefit. Insurance will only pay to get you barely above the lower limits of normal. The injectable weight loss drugs do have an FDA-approved indication for diabetes, but the doses are far lower than what is indicated for weight loss, and insurance will not pay for these meds for diabetes until you fail several generics first. Some of these medications do have a weight loss indication from the FDA, but they are much more expensive through your local pharmacy. All things considered, insurance will not cover these meds. It doesn't cover your Starbucks or your gym membership or your kids Christmas presents, and still you buy those! Some things are just so important you should do even if insurance doesn't pay for it! Losing weight and improving muscle/fat ratio and speeding up healing - these are priorities that improve your longevity and your quality of life probably more than any other.

3. Where is your office?

We are a U.S. company with many different providers in the U.S. cooperating with us to help keep costs low for you. We do not have a brick-and-mortar office. This also helps us keep costs down. All contact with patients is either through email, text, or phone. Even though these products are all naturally occurring in the body, they are very expensive going through modern medical practices, if your doctor recommends them at all. This is the most efficient way to keep these very useful and important products affordable.

4. Will you take insurance?

No. Payment for the Specialist Consult and for Testosterone is done via Cash App or Venmo. Payment for the other products are through the Felix Chem website, which also does not take insurance.

5. Will you order lab work and does it cost extra?

Testosterone supplementation requires lab work before and during treatment, but the other products do not usually require labs.

6. Can prospective patients have a Free Consult?

We offer a free 5-10-minute consultation, accessible by texting your name and the word "Consult" to this number.

7. What is the difference between the Free Consult and the Specialist Consult?

The Free Consult is free and provides basic recommendations based upon a brief interview. The Specialist Consult requires payment and filling out a questionnaire, and is necessary for Testosterone and more complicated care and complex questions regarding benefits, side effects, titration, etc. If you have experience with the peptides (Semaglutide, Tirzepatide, BPC-157, NAD), and know how to use them, you can order directly through the link on the home page. However, if you're new to peptides and hormones, a Specialist Consult is necessary at the onset to show you how to mix the product and the most painless and convenient way to administrate the product. A Consult is probably also necessary any time your titration schedule causes an intolerable side effect, and to obtain diet and supplement recommendations to achieve optimum efficacy.

8. Can I get a discount?

Yes. Ordering peptides from the links on the home page provides a 10% discount on the Felix Chem website. If you search the site  to purchase other products, when you check out, use the discount code DOC to get 10% off.

9. How long does a vial of Testosterone, BPC-157, Semaglutide, Tirzepatide, and NAD last?

It depends on the dose. Usually about 3-4 months until the product is titrated to effective dose, then about 2-3 months.

10. Does "OptimizeYourHealth.online" undertake the responsibility of primary care for its customers?

No. You're responsible for finding a primary care provider for primary care. Our responsibility is limited to recommending and overseeing your use of these naturally occurring peptides and hormones for FDA-approved as well as non-FDA approved reasons. The customer assumes all risk for using these products, some of which have significant side effects including disability and death.

11. Is there risk of abusing these products or suffering severe side effects from these products?

Yes, especially Testosterone. Admittedly, most of the side effects of Testosterone are from taking doses that exceed the upper limits of normal, as professional body builders frequently do. These products must be taken as recommended in order to avoid potentially unhealthy side effects, disability, and even death. If side effects ensue, other medications can mitigate those side effects (Pregnyl injections, Cialis, etc.), and we may begin to provide those products soon on this website at significant discounts.

12. How long does it take to titrate these products to effective doses? What are the benefits and side effects? What will happen if the product is discontinued suddenly?

For answers to questions such as these, order a Specialist Consult.

13. Does it hurt to inject these products?

The Testosterone requires an intramuscular injection, and is admittedly more uncomfortable. However, the other products are injected subcutaneously with a very tiny needle, and is relatively pain-free. Ordering a Specialist Consult provides you a video tutorial on the most painless and convenient way to give these injections.

14. Do the oral pill versions of these products work as well as the injectables?

No. The acid of the stomach as well as the pass of gastrointestinal contents through the liver neutralizes these fragile peptides. The best scientific evidence is for injectable peptides.

15. Do oral products that claim to improve Testosterone levels work as well as injectables?

No. When Testosterone first came to market for hypogonadism, it was in oral form and many of the men developed liver masses. Doses that improved Testosterone levels were simply too harmful to take orally. That's why Testosterone must be given through injectables, creams, or patches, to bypass the GI tract and the liver. However, many oral products can improve Testosterone safely, but they are very limited in their benefit and can actually induce the release of substances in the body which can bind testosterone and make it ineffective. Ordering Testosterone through us provides you with a list of supplements that can mitigate side effects and maximize the efficacy of your injections.

16. Do Testosterone gels, creams, and patches work as well as injectables?

No. They don't get the levels sufficiently high, and they are very expensive. There is also the documentable risk of transferring the hormone through the skin to close contacts.
